Cite as [A.S.A.C. § 4.0218 ]"Job evaluation" means a comprehensive determination of the relative worth and importance of all the jobs and positions in an establishment. A typical procedure involves the assignment of values to various job skills and characteristics, and a totaling of these values for each job on the basis of a job analysis. A job-evaluation program may be for the purpose of setting wage scales, for determining promotion requirements, for establishing incentives, etc.
